A Puppet Show

WALT create and perform a puppet show.

Room 10/11 had a great opportunity to create and perform a puppet show from scratch! They had to write the script, make the stage and props such as a butterfly, a cocoon, a caterpillar and different types of foods. They practised for a few weeks and developed their acting and understanding of stage performance. Take a look at Rajon's group’s performance. (Please click the title above the picture)

The big, fat caterpillar

Setting description: The lake is like glass and the mountains are so beautiful. The sky is so blue and the sun is bright.

Narrator: Once upon a time a cute little egg lay on a leaf and out popped a cute little caterpillar.
Narrator: The little caterpillar started to look for some food.
Narrator: First she found an ice-cream. It was too sweet and she vomited.
Narrator: Then she found some candy and then she went so crazy!
Narrator: She found some veggies and then she ate them. She said “Finally I got something yummy!”
Narrator: Then she was so sleepy she found a tree to make a cocoon.
Narrator: She stayed in the cocoon for a few months.
Narrator: After a few months, she popped out of the cocoon and then she was a beautiful butterfly.
Narrator: She lived happily ever after.
